Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning terhadap Kemampuan Numerasi berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) Siswa di SD Negeri Bontomaero II Kabupaten Gowa

This research aims to find out: 1) An overview of the Project Based Learning model for students at SD Negeri Bontomaero II Kab. Gowa, 2) Description of students' Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS)-based numeracy abilities at SD Negeri Bontomaero II Kab. Gowa, and 3) The influence of the Project Based Learning model on Numeracy Ability Based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) of Students at SD Negeri Bontomaero II Kab. Gowa. To achieve this goal, researchers used quantitative methods with an ex-post facto research design. The research variables consist of the Project Based Learning model (variable X) and Numeracy Ability Based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (variable Y). Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis using SPSS 29. The results of the research show that: 1) Description of the Project Based Learning model for students at SD Negeri Bontomaero II Kab. Gowa is in the "very high" category with the following indicators: (a) determining basic questions; (b) create project designs; (c) arranging scheduling; (d) monitor project progress; (e) assessment of results; and (f) evaluation of experience. 2) Description of students' Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) based numeracy abilities at SD Negeri Bontomaero II Kab. Gowa is in the "very high" category with the following indicators: (a) able to solve problems in various everyday contexts using various symbols and numbers related to mathematics; (b) able to analyze information in graphic displays, tables, charts, diagrams, and so on; and (c) able to interpret the results of the analysis to predict and make decisions on the right answers. 3) There is a positive and significant influence between the Project Based Learning model on students' Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) based numeracy abilities at SD Negeri Bontomaero II Kab. Gowa with a significant correlation coefficient of 0.527 which is at the "medium" level.
