Abstract

How the application of icebreaker affects the ability of junior high school students in Somba Opu, Gowa Regency to focus on lessons. The thesis was submitted to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, State University of Makassar. M. Muhammad Zulfadli and M. Muh. Said acted as a supervisor. The objectives of this study: 1) how the icebreaker is applied; 2) how students focus; and 3) how icebreakers affect students' ability to focus on learning. This study uses a quantitative descriptive strategy. Variable X is related to the application of icebreaker, and Variable Y is the student's concentration of learning. Information collection methods include observation, questionnaires and documentation. Inferential statistics and mean analysis are the tools of choice for this dataset.From the results of the study, it is known that the pre-test score in the control class is 69.72 and the pre-test score in the experimental class is 69.2. Both are included in the sufficient category. Post-test results in the control class.
